If you look at Gatekeeper last winter- they worked through the snow and freezing temperatures up on the lake. So my guess is not much will stop 'em. I bet we will see a slow but steady pace through the winter. They wanted to get this much done so far to get the public even more interested. Remember too, once the track is done there are a LOT of electrical and mechanical parts that will need to be installed and tested along with the station and theming. I believe the gift shop for Banshee is actually the first floor of the station and would thus not show in the station renderings. I think that would be very cool. I hope that is the case Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My best guess as of now is that it will remain a gift shop selling mostly The Bat & Banshee items. Since The Bat does not have a gift shop already, KI will want to put some new merch on sale near the ride. Also in the station renderings of Banshee there doesn't seem to be a gift shop coming off the exit. So maybe the current shop there will have both rides merchandise. Very glad to see its return. It is going to freshen up Action Zone along with Banshee and create a new appealing environment in that section of the park.

This retheming, along with Banshee is really going to bring that part of the park to life. The only thing that would make it better would be to rename the whole area. There is even more potential for AZ now. Some fog on both rides would be great, especially at night.

KI could really create a great themed area over in Action Zone. There's so much potential. It would be nice to see some of these regional parks with some more theming. I hope to see KI go all out with a new area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

I don't know for sure, obviously. But if you think about it, there would be no reason to remove FD right now. We won't be getting a new coaster after Banshee for a few years so there's no reason to make more room. I'm not saying I know what's happening- just making logical assumptions.
