Stopped by the park the other day and snapped some photos of Banshee, The Bat, and parking lot improvements. Since I couldn't find the topic about the parking lot improvements for 2014, I'll post those here. I DID NOT TRESPASS. I have a 300 mm lens. Shot from the highway & Great Wolf Lodge. I just took some great photos of Banshee and The Bat from Great Wolf lodge. Will be posted later. EDIT: And the skyline, from the highway.

No. No offical announcements have been made of the retheming of AZ and they probably won't until media day or close to it.

After researching photos of the loops, I noticed on the supports there's a spot for mechanics to get on. Which this support doesn't have...

That's what I figured.

So, my brother has algebra this year, and he brought home his algebra book. When I first saw it I thought it was Vortex, but then I noticed there wasn't supports on both sides (which I found odd because I didn't think there was a full loop with just one side with a support). I turned the book over and the loop was on the back too, but with no supports. So it's possible that it is Vortex. What do you guys think? and if it isn't Vortex, which coaster do you think it is? I don't know if this prediction has been made or not yet, but I just want to state my prediction. I predict that the area with Festhaus, Viking Fury, etc. Will be added to International Street, and Adventure Express added to Action Zone (or whatever it will be called). And the footers added by the entrance to Adventure Express will be the used for the sign for Action Zone (or the new area name).

Could you speak up a little? I know, right? When it's not affected by weather, sometimes it looks like an eerie painting either by Van Gogh as you mentioned, or by my favorite artist, MC Escher. I wonder if someone has captured a few frames of the weather building up on the webcam... would make an interesting time lapse. I can't wait to see DavidW's time lapse for this week!

Here is my sister and I ten years ago on The Beast. I had just gotten into coasters, as you can probably tell. I plan on redoing this photo on June 4th.

Has anyone noticed what's going on beside Adventure Expresses entrance? Watch around the bush by the sign at the last 15 seconds of week 25. And look at it the beginning of week 26. Probably Thunderhead at Dollywood. I've never been to Dollywood, and I've wanted to ride it. I am bummed that it won't be Banshee, but oh well! Media day is only 78 days away!

^The park opened in 1972 and The Beast opened in 1979. Actually, when The Beast was opened the map looked a bit different:

Looks like they put gravel over it. Hopefully they don't just put concrete over it.:/
