Probably a stupid question. But, what is "spiel"?

I am glad to see the new pic of the exterior of the station. They have added the wing wall and lower level pop-out for the entrance.....just like the rendering shows......the only thing I don't see yet is the lone freestanding wall....but I am pretty sure that's a last minute build after everything else is in.

Thanks, that was an awesome podcast. I also went to their Youtube channel and watch the video of the same interview with Don Helbig and you can see the construction work going on in the AZ circle in the background.....Good stuff. On another note: Is anyone else as surprised as I am about the pic of the worker painting The Bat with a roller?!! Even though seeing is believing...im still having a hard time believing that 2000+ feet of track was all painted that way. Talk about job security.....haha. It does look nice though with that nice new bright orange color.

I hope some recent pics of the OUTSIDE of the station are posted soon.

Looks like they have made a lot of progress getting pavers laid in the circle.

It looks to me like they are putting sand down for pavers in the circle area. Hard to tell from the distance.

That is one of the best vids I have ever seen! Kudos to whomever made that.

I am thinking that they are not going to be planting any flowers this time of year.

How many trains can be on the track running at the same time? 2 or 3?

Did they move the water tower to another location? Or did it go to the scrap yard?

My guess for the circle area is that it will be a multi-function area, with a shade structure of some sort....possibly lockers, general sitting area and/or planters as well. Could even have a kiosk or 2 in there to sell soft drinks and the like.

Does anyone know what that big thing covered in plastic is at the bottom of the Dive Loop?

And what changes would that be?

That clock feature on Google Earth is great! You can flip back and forth to see just where Son of Beast was compared to where Banshee is.....pretty cool.

To bad the street view in Google maps isn't updated as well. You still see Son of Beast in the street view shots.

I think it would have been better to leave the wood its natural color instead of painted it grey.

I seriously doubt KI will let anyone work on rides/coasters while they are in operation. I'm sure insurance wouldn't allow that.

I just noticed on the webcam view, you can clearly see the circular concrete cut where the Banshee sign marquee is going.

The big circle area is going to be a shaded locker/seating area isn't it?
