  1. Well, I think The Beast used to take you for a wile ride back in the day. These days, Thunderhead gets my vote. As coasterdime said, the final helix on The Beast is still one of the most amazing parts on any wood coaster....that is what keeps The Beast from falling way way down in my rankings. However the rest of Beast is more like a scenic railway. No real speed after the shed brakes, even the quick dip isn't what it used to be. Thunderhead doesn't offer extreme forces in airtime or laterals, but what it does is beautifully combine them to make an all out fabulous ride. The pure, non stop speed and insane direction changes make Thunderhead leap ahead of many other rides out there. Man its amazing...... - Todd, who likes The Beast but doesn't consider it a top tier ride anymore
  2. I haven't noticed anything else posted here yet, though I don't pay close attention to these forums, but the funnel for the Tazmanian Typhoon has been set into place now. Its been in place for about a week. Just today as I was leaving for work, I noticed that they have began to install the actual slide pieces. The blue / orange combo is going to look nice! I'll try to get my camera and snap a few pictures here in the next day or two. - Todd
