Remnants of past attractions
And y'all are right there are many, many very inteligent Kentucky folk and many high institusions. Two off the top of my head are Centre college and Translyvania University. During the Civil War era Transylvania and Kentucky as a state was considered best education in the South. Even Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederate States of America went to Transy, along with highly intelligent Generals and Students. I am aware that our state is very smart and again will say that I am sorry. I certaintly love My Old Kentucky Home and it's ,many scholars and inteligent students and people. It's universities continue it's tradtion today. Thank you and sorry again for any negativity or confusion. I love Kentucky and say God bless it.

Remnants of past attractions
I again apologize. I was talking about my own grammer rather then the entire State of Kentucky. I do love my Home and it's people and would never mock it. I can only say sorry but just know that I do love Kentucky and the rest of the Southern States below it. And I also dislike the stereotypes associated with Southern grammer and acents. Sorry again. Please just remember that I was just making a joke and I didnt think it was serious but am sorry that I made an offensive statement. Please forgive Maestro for his accidental predjudice on his own people.

Remnants of past attractions
I apologize sincerly for any offense taken at my streotypical comment. I am aware that my home land has produced many, many important figures, including the President of the United States and that of the Confederate States just to name a few. I am truly sorry for that statement and at any offense taken from any good Kentucky folks. I was only trying to make a joke and am sorry.

Sorry about the grammer issues.- Remnants of past attractions
It might be, I cant remember for sure. All I can remember is riding back seat and stretching my neck out to see the yellow and red Son of Beast Trains out in the graveyard field. Your right probaly about the color of the Train.- Boo Blasters on Boo Hill TLC
At the very least they should light it up with a flashlight or something or put red eyes in all of the faces. Those red eyes can be quite spooky. Im just trying to keep this post alive, sorry.- old track pieces and zoo cages
Yes, the trains from King Cobra were stored inside Flight of Fear's "Bowl" until 2008 when they were shipped down South to Kings Dominion. They were also used as Haunt Props during a few seasons (along with the Phantom Theater Gang). My guess is the picture of them in the field was taken slightly before their move to Virginia. I dont know for sure. Looking at the picture it looks as if they restraints could be used on Shockwave but their is no way of telling for sure unless you ask someone who works on the Ride. By the way I dont own the rights to these pictures, just a little surfing the web. The one on the left is at Kings Dominion and the one on the right is inside FoF at Kings Island pre-2008. .- Remnants of past attractions
Next on our list is the lights from Lion Country Safari. See those two lights sticking up? Yes thats them. Next up is The Bat, the orginal from 1981 . Next we've got Flight Commanders queue line, which I believe is now used as KillMart's line as well. Here we have the queue line and station for The Smurf's Enchanted Voyage . And now, Son of Beast Sky Ride tree Footer r . SkyLab/Tumble Bug Queue Line Eiffel Tower/Various Remnants Including Son of Beast Station and Parmount Trams way out in the corner behind Banshee. Face/Off Theming King Cobra Footers/ Now gone due to Banshee Construction, they were dug up and put God knows where. Son of Beast queue line/Station Top Gun And lastly, The karts from Thunder Alley behind Firehawk . Hope y'all enjoyed my list and my pictures. I also hope y'all go out and find these and some more remnants, theres plenty out there in the land of Kings Island. It did take me years to find all that Ive found, But it is fun and nostalgic to see a footer from "The Bat" or a Balcony or Face from Phantom Theater. To me it keeps the past in the present. Again I hope you enjoy this and my Boo Blasters on Boo Hill TLC, Phantom Boards picture on that forum. Thanks!- Remnants of past attractions

See what I mean? My Pic and the other pic are identical, except no boards, please remove them, Thanks! Again The one with the boards is My Picture but the other one I dont own the rights to. I just found it to compare it with my more modern picture that I took a few years back.- Boo Blasters on Boo Hill TLC

Well Thank God i finally figured out the process. Anyways I think you'll see what I mean. I took the picture above a few years back and finally realized that the Frame from its Phantom Theater days is still there. All Paramount did was remove the glass and the light. Then they put boards over the Phantom Theater Frame. Basically its the fake, wooden spooky boards, then its the actual Frame from Phantom Theater, followed by the Phantom Theater bust in the wall. That Phantom in paticular is supposed to be a funny face. Sorry, watch a Ride Through on Youtube and you'll see him along with the Frame. Ill post a picture of another face and you'll see what i mean. Thanks for reading I hope you go find all these faces. Thats the only reason I ride Boo Blasters is to see stuff from Phantom Theater. Have a Phantastic Day! This next one is not my picture but it gives you an idea of the Glory Days.- Boo Blasters on Boo Hill TLC

Dang, still cant figure it out. I have a shutterfly account but KICentral wont let me post any picture. Help, again- Boo Blasters on Boo Hill TLC
Well I can not for the life of me post a picture can someone tell me what Im doing wrong. It keeps telling me that I cant use images in this Community. Help me figure out what Im doing wrong Please!- Boo Blasters on Boo Hill TLC
You know one thing I've never noticed is when you look at the Creepy Bust in the Previous Phantom, modern Boo Blaster Hallway they left the actual frame of the bust there. All Paramount did was remove the glass and light and put some fake wooden boards there overtop. I will try and post a picture I took of it a few years back so you can see what I mean. Im talking about the outside frame.- Remnants of past attractions
Agreed! And it could be modified to read the standard warnings about being seated, taking off loose shoes and the "Welcome back riders, how was your ride?" spiels. Double agreed He really couldnt talk about the Prop Room I guess. That wouldnt make since to the younger generation. Ive always thought it would be interesting to have Maestro stand at the top of The Beast lift hill at say "You're not afraid are you"? right before going down into the tunnel.- Remnants of past attractions
Yes, that would be awesome!- Remnants of past attractions
Thanks you guys for your interest in my Kings Island Remnants list. I had a great time making it and really enjoy finding all that stuff although it took me several trips to find it all. I am going to try as hard as I can to post some pictures of the remnants I found although Ive had limited success at that before. Thanks!- Boo Blasters on Boo Hill TLC
I think all I'd like to see is the Phantom Theater Props/Animatronics used somewhere in the Park. I really don't care where but find something to do with them then just leave them in storage unseen unless you work there. Maybe during Haunt you could break a few out and put them on Boo Blasters or on display somewhere. Maybe put the Maestro back in his balcony for Haunt only. I dont know just a personal opinion.- Remnants of past attractions
During the early days of Top Gun the queue line extended under the station where you viewed props from the movie "Top Gun' such as planes, radars, etc. But eventually after years of that in the early to mid 2000s (cant think of the actual year) they closed it off and then you just walked through what you walk through now. During the "Flight Deck" era the planes stayed until late 2013 when we all knew that a change was coming. Don't know why they removed the queue underneath the Station. I guess "The Bat" just didnt need that. Its similar to how Vortex's queue is the Original Bat's queue. It's themed to be a Gothic Castle but it does The Vortex alright, except it used to be Orange not The Vortex Blue. Also it's similar to how Boo Blasters on Boo Hill's queue is the exact queue as Phantom Theater. They kept the Maestro's Balcony and the Chandeliers and also the spooky borded up faces except they took out their Phantom look and atmosphere. Also another remnant. When "The Bat" gets back to the Station look down and you'll see the Number 41 painted on there to resemble an Aircraft Carrier. I recommended to Kings Island that they should use the Phantom Theater Animatronics on either "The Bat" or "Banshee". At least they could play the music. I think the Gargoyle would be perfect in "The Bat's" queue line. He could tease you like the Maestro. - Remnants of past attractions
