italianchef
It seems that Cedar Fair is seeking a buyer that will keep its management team in place. What do you THINK the future of Cedar Fair is?
Captain Picard
If it's all as it looks there will be no buyers and at some point they will have to try to refinance the existing debt. At that point they are going to find that they can't at reasonable rate and things will get worse.
welchce
I don't see anyone buying CF but still letting them mange it. I voted for selling GL and other small parks to pay off the debt.
BoddaH1994
It wouldn't be too lofty of a business decision to purchase such a large chain and not maintain control of it. I'm guessing they'll sell off some properties they don't need and they'll be fine.
italianchef
Geauga Lake is not earning enough money. It ought to be sold, even for real estate. Star Trek: The Experience doesn't fit well into a traditional amusement park chain. It ought to be sold. Selling those 2 parks alone would reduce debt. Additionally, I'm sure CF can sell a one or two water parks for more to reduce debt. We'll see what happens. Have a great day! mutedarkness
geauga lake isnt worth 1.2 billion. FYI. plus. we gotta wait to see if GL is making a better profit with the adjustments they did. whens Q2 end?
DropZone99
In the next few years i think GL will remove all rides, and just become a waterpark. So i think CF should sell it, they already have enough parks in Ohio. =]
