Dane
What a way to start the day off. A call from work saying I need to come in and fix a computer at 9:30 when I was planning to sleep in. I left work at 11:30 and went home to grab a quick fix. Drove to my partner in crime's house and we were off to PKI. A amazing 45 mins later we were at PKI. It's amazing how much 5mph the entire way will shorten my average time by 20 mins. The metal dectectors seem to have been turned up. I used to be ok with just taking out my phone, but now it went off everytime untill all I had on (metal wise) was nothing. Walking through the park, it was clear that no-one was there, but upon arrival to Boomerang Bay, it was a different story. I have never seen a line that long for Coolangatta Racers. Got a locker and walked over to the wave pool. After about 45 mins in there we got out to go to the Lazy River. All the effects were working wonderfully. Snowy River Rampage was all blocked off with a catapiller right next to the slide. Got off Lazy and went to the Great Barrier Reef area to dry off in a lounge chair. Left BB and went over to the main park. Rode The Beast, Flyers, and Vortex. Than we grabbed a Strawberry milkskake from Tuckers. A strongly recommended item to all of you. Rode raceR and got a nice view of all the floats all lined up and ready to go. At 4:40 we went up Tower for a few. At 4:55 we walked to grab a spot for the Parade with Marketing and Shaggy. Jeff shared a photo of his new baby to us. And I'll tell you this... He definitely has Jeffs hair. The parade was great as usual. Spongebob was going abosolutely insane! I have never seen a character move that fast. After the parade we went to the Chippery and got some chips. They were delicious as usual. Walked towards the back of the park and rode SBSP3D. A underrated ride to say the least. TRTR was working wonderfully. I was next to a few first timers and they said when they got off that thats the best flat ride they have ever ridden. They where from Northern Ohio. It was about 9:40 so it was time to go meet up with some friends at the Flyers. Last run was wonderful. We had doubled up for the fun of it, and I wanted to watch everyone else in action. It was a great day where I noticed EVERYTHING was working except for a few light bulbs here and there. And the triangle thing on the first big door on TRTR dosent work still, but other than that, everything worked.

Boy, it doesn't surprise me that TR:TR was the best flat they've ridden if they're from up north. Certain parks up north wouldn't know decent flats if they hit them in the face. Oh well, we've got nice flats and nice coasters. I'd prefer PKI any day of the week.
DeliriumDreamer
Too bad you missed meeting me, I was at a different ride that day. (probably somewhere you wouldn't expect to see me). Good TR. TRTR is always a fun ride when you have the time.
KIBeast
My brother just got back from PKI yesterday. He went with a friend and their family. Although he did not see the Spongebob 3D, he said that two of his friends' kids went and they absolutely had a ball. He also got to try out the SDATHC and said that it was a lot of fun as well. Godd TR.
