padfoot714
I'm 6'4" and 200lbs and I fit in all the coasters. My brother is 6'7" and 180 and he fits in everything as well.
The Interpreter
Yes and no. I have many friends who are not even close to 300 pounds who do not fit Top Thrill Dragster or Millennium Force. It is not just weight, it's body shape. These INTAMIN rides had fairly accomodating seats, but INTAMIN has several times made manufacturer's recommendations (which MUST be followed in Ohio for the ride to be licensed) that have resulted in shorter and shorter seatbelts. I know several people who could ride both in earlier seasons, have NOT gained weight, and no longer fit either ride. And not all the seatbelts are the same size either, even though they are supposed to be. If you don't (or do) fit one time in one seat, the result may be different later in another seat or another train. If you are male and have a 38 inch or larger waist, you may or may not fit. If you are female and wear at least a size 14 dress, same story. There are test seats at the beginning of each ride. By the way, Maverick is far more accommodating to larger riders than Top Thrill Dragster (as is Kingda Ka, for that matter).
Gordon Bombay
In response to what Interpreter said, I dont think all the seatbelts at the CP rides are the same length at all, sometimes it depends on if you get a good seat. I was able to ride everything in 2006 and even dropped some weight by the time I went this year and sometimes on Dragster I could get about 2 inches of black on the seatbetl and other times I barely got that seatbelt on, the worst part is that the greeters in front of the ride seem to have shorter seatbelts in their test seats and they like to order everyone to try it out regardless if they have been on it before or not, and like INterpreter said; Maverick is much more accomidating as it lacks the typical Intamin T-Bar restraint, but the ride can be killer on your neck.
