WooferBearATL
The question is! when do the dis-able people start geting in cheap? Well I think that the conference call noted that they were working on "price integrity." You know, not a lot of discount tickets. ...... errrrrrr strike that idea. Are the folks at CF just a little spastic in that they highlight fewer discounts and then offer discounts? It's like one hand does not know what the next is doing? The Interpreter
First Mr. Kinzel stresses pricing integrity. Then admissions fall. Then they panic. Then they offer discounts. See: Paramount Parks season pass policy last fall (I still believe the plan was to charge for parking, but not enough passes were sold so they added it as a benefit...and remember, the gold pass perks were not there, then suddenly they were...) Nor is this a new trend. A few years back, Cedar Fair proudly noted that seniors were more active, and in the spirit of fairness to everyone, they were doing away with senior discounts. And they did. And attendance fell. Especially of grandparents bringing little grandkids, who spent tons of money, didn't spend long in the park, and didn't tie up the big attractions. So, shortly thereafter, senior (and steeper child) discounts were back.
