Holy cow! I cannot even imagine that. There is a similar ride called SkyScraper in Flordia. It was on the discovery channel years ago and I remember them saying that they pressurize all of the rails and piping of the ride and have a monitor to see if there is any chang in pressure. Obviously if pressure is lost then they know that they have a hairline crack somewhere and they will deal with it immediately.

Somehow I doubt that this particular ride was as well cared for.

Terrible. I think something like that would make me hurl.

Another reason why I don't ride Fair Rides. They are not kept up as well as fixed rides. This is very sad news though.

Fair rides have always worried me. Something like this is just horrible.

Those things get taken apart so much, things are likely to wear over time.
