Your First Season at KI?

Featured Replies

My first season at KI was 2007. Lol, I missed out on a lot of stuff. We never went to KI 2006 because we didn't know about it.

When was your first season at KI?

Again -- please put topics under the proper headings. This is clearly not a poll. This is your final warning.

^lol.

My first year at Kings Island was 1988. I was 3 years old at the time. But my mom has pictures of me riding around on some of the old rides in Hanna Barbara Land (now Nick Universe). I didn't become a really big fan until 1993, when I was finally tall enough to ride bigger rides. King Cobra was my first looping coaster. Still one of my all-time favorites.

1992 I believe. I was too little to remember the smurfs stuff. My first ride ever was to car ride in Hannah Barbara land that's now called "Jr.Drivers". I remember looking at the King Cobra and being scared to death!

2nd ride was the Scooby Zoom (the little Bill one now) and 3rd was Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal.

My first year at Kings Island was 1992. 1998 was my first year buying a season pass and ive had one since.

My first year was back in 1993, but i was just a baby. Vortex was the first roller coaster with an inversion i ever rode! 2007 is my first year with a season pass...

1972. i moved to michigan in 81. never came back until 2004. what a change!!

now i'm telling my age. roller coasters keep you young.

1992 -- I only experienced one visit to the park in the pre-Paramount era.

I remember the big buzz about Kings Island was that there wasn't any kind of major change to it, it just had the "Paramount's" name.
