I was strolling along theme park reveiw's link page and saw this sites cool logo came hear saw the boomerang bay link at the top.

It's nothing like Australia at all First: a Waterpark when Australia has been in drought for the past year. Second: Dundee is an idiot he may be Funny but knows Nothing of the OB and only and even out in thoses small towns they have technology.

Thirdly: the Gold coast in all mainly Hotels and the beaches are always packed except in winter when the jellys come.

Now on a lighter note i like the idea of it being in a big American theme park encouraging more people to come here to our shorteterning list of theme parks.

Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay wasn't intended to be accurate or educational at all. Granted, a lot of the associations it has with Australia are a little steriotypical, but I think you'd find them "cute" as opposed to offensive.

I don't think they really thought about this. I think they just wanted a movie that tied in with water, and it is perfect since Australia has lot's of beaches.

On a side note, when someone uses the reference "It is raining cats and dogs", there are really no cats and dogs coming from the sky, it is just raining very hard.

I thought it was a poor choice. Who, in the next five years will remember Crocodile Dundee?

Instead of Boomerang Bay, They should have changed it to a more australian name, even though Boomerang Bay could be, it could have been better.

Don't know if this is true or not, but I have heard that Foster's is the rotgut beer of Austrailia.
