WooferBearATL
"I'm not going to condone what he did, but he's an 18-year-old kid, and when you are 18, sometimes you act before you think," Reitz said. Pryor is normally a good role model who signs autographs and visits with sick children, but he is under a tremendous amount of pressure because of his fame, Reitz said. WOW Role Model's that cause public disturbances at amusement parks. With a coach like this, I'm thinking we know why there is a problem. Captain Picard
I would guess the guy wasn't having a good day to start with because of where he was and someone was out of line and he went off. I went to Phantom Fright Nights last Saturday and was very disappointed with it. I got there around 8PM because of traffic and the park was so full you couldn't do much of anything. I was in line for Villa of the Vampires 2.5 hrs. After that I decided we would just do the rides and only got The Racer and Phantom by 1AM. I have said I have never had a bad day at Kenneywood and it's still that way but I can't say it for Fright Nights. They need to charge more to thin out the crowds and get capacity up before I will ever return.
The Interpreter
...and when parks do upcharge for fright events, they get bad press from some. It's one or the other...no upcharge and HUGE lines or an upcharge and reasonable lines. I know which I'd prefer. Then again, I've gone to Scarowinds for many years now... Browntggrr
18 year old kid signing autographs and seeing sick people because he is a high school football prospect? What about the National Honor Socity? Why don't they sign autographs & see sick people? Oh yeah, that's right, SOCIETY PUTS KIDS ON A PEDELSTAL THAT CAN RUN A BALL! And when you give kids that kind of attention, it is absurd to think they would get a premadonna or narcissistic attitude. Nah, they would never be stupid enough to bring an incident to an idiotic level because, god forbid, someone does something they don't like. *end sarcasm* That coach should have just shut his mouth and suspend the player. Don't try and justify his actions. No matter if this kid had a legitimate reason to get ****ed, you still don't take it to a level where you are being charged with a crime. If he was that great of a person, he would have already known that.

The Interpreter
Two things: If preMadonna is a purposeful spelling, I LOVE it! Great pun and great reference. The coach knows where he works and probably wants to keep his job. IF he had suspended the kid, he himself might later find himself sans a job. Heck, he may find himself that way EITHER way. That's life in coaching. Yes, even at the high school level.

The Coaches are considered Mini God's and what they say is law.
