I noticed that in the commercial advertising HH at KI was filmed at Geauga Lake, well i think it was.. i could of sworn i say a green and black Firehawk [X-Flight]. I hate when theme parks are too cheap to film the real park..

We've discusssed this many times before. No park chain always uses the local park in ads. The public doesn't care. There are better uses for money.

Speaking as someone who does a lot of filming and video editing, the public generally doesnt notice and if they do they dont hold any grief towards the park. It's not that they're too cheap but theres not really a need to do such a thing like go out and film Firehawk with its different colors, color editing effects can be used in programs like Adobe Finalcut Pro to make X flight appear as Firehawk, this was done in early ads for Firehawk. Was the whole commercial filmed at Geauga Lake? I dont get KI ads here in Athens.

Looks more as if it goes back and forth between Geauga and Knott's Berry Farm. Several shots of the commercial are from Knott's mazes/scare zones (13 Axe Murder Manor & Silver Bullet Mine Town).
