Kids At Halloween Haunt

Featured Replies

My wife and son (teenager) went to HH twice this year and said there was a lot of young children there (under 10). Dont you think this is very odd since they boldly say it is not for young children and such and vulger scenes. Do they not look at these people at the gate and tell them to think twice. They even saw lots of strollers and such. Anyone else go and see this as well?

Yeah, this was mentioned in another thread. I know for fact the first few nights parents were told at the gate of the graphic nature of the haunt, but it is ultimately the parents' decision on whether to enter or not.

The Saturday I went, I noticed an awful lot of younger kids too. But, it's not up to KI to parent them. All they can do is put up signs. The rest is up to the parents' judgement...good or bad.

I saw strollers parked outside of Dead Awakening last Saturday. I found that a little odd.

The problem is that when Paramount did Fear Fest, they also said it was inappropriate for children, but didn't cross the line nearly as much as they do now. Now, people take the "adult oriented" warning lightly despite the fact that we're in Cedar Fair's barn now.
