...Busch Entertainment also announced today that it is introducing a new brand name for its chain of theme parks and water parks, which also include two other SeaWorlds, another Busch Gardens and a couple of others around the country. They now will be known as "Worlds of Discovery," a moniker that replaces "Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks."...

In fact, it says it is to disappear from the entire chain of parks...

Another sign of a coming divestiture?

Possibly, but I doubt it

I think they mean that there are other SeaWorlds and another Busch Gardens besides the ones they previously mentioned being in Florida. The new graphic shows 3 SeaWorlds and 2 Gardens', so you mustve read it wrong, I not sure if they're going to split off the parks. However, Busch did say that they were moving the headquarters of Busch Entertainment from St. Louis to Orlando (or somewhere nearby) to better focus on the parks.

But it also says "and a couple of others around the country." And "another Busch Gardens." The ONLY other Busch Gardens is BGE. The couple of others are Seaworlds...The new tagline is for the chain of parks.

In any event, I still smell a likely divestiture . . why else remove the corporate name from the parks' taglines and why else move the company headquarters AWAY from the corporate headquarters, while leaving the former parks head person with the corporate parent, promoting a new person to head the parks? Sure smells like a coming divestiture to me.

Another thought is that they want to put a focus on the animal aspect for each park. Perhaps Busch believes that the general public is not aware of the animal side of each park. Especially considering the additions the last few years at BGA.

Even Kinzel admitted that he did not believe the animal side of WoA would have made that much of a difference. Maybe Busch sees an untapped resource?

I have said it before that they will be selling before they buy more parks. I said over a year ago that it was said that they wasn't happy with any of their parks except Seaworld Orlando.

This is nothing new as it's been rumored that Anheuser-Busch was to be sold. It's been long enough that it should be getting done if it's going to.
