hauntguy
Was he wearing a OSU shirt or jacket... If so, I scared the heeby geebies out of him. There was a "kid" come through Tombstone that was pail in the face, about to cry in terror,... scared. I seen him coming and was like.. "yeeeessss"... I crouched behind the crates, let Bill (old man with a LONG beard) distract him and the boy made ONE mistake! He was standing on the side of his parents that was closest to Bill, when the kid seen Bill he switched to the other side of his parents... which actually put him closer to me! So I pop out from behind the crates screaming like a lunatic and this kids hits the ground! HAHAHAHA!!!! I just hovered above him screaming until he covered his eyes then I helped him up and told him to "get out". HAHA!!! Good times. -Hauntguy

Some kids love to see the monsters and get scared. Others freak out. It's best to just let them decide and the park keep doing the warnings that they did. PKIMaureen
I am 32 years old and if any of my friends or family members dragged me to something like that, I would be beside myself with anger and fear. I'm not a wus, I just don't like that kind of thing at all. I've tried it and to me, it sucks. Now I know that plenty of folks love it, hence the popularity of the Haunt!! If the child was small, it's just plain wrong. I'm all for facing your fears but that is rediculous!!!!!!!! Enjoying my post-Halloween, non-scary time of year, PKImaureen
KIBeast
Good to see you, Marueen! I wouldn't force that on anyone, no matter the age. I think people are forgetting that there are plenty of adults whom are too scared to go to HH or watch horror movies. As Interpreter said, there is nothing wrong with those people who hate it or love it. My mother and her brother used to terrify my sister, my brother, and I when we were kids. Mostly, just Halloween pranks. I'm sure if one of us had indicated any real terror, it would have stopped immediately. She just KNEW her own kids. Browntggrr
What's next? "I'm scared to eat my green beans, but my mommy and daddy made me eat them." It is funny on how some kids will try and get attention in any way possible. I would enjoy to hear the parents side of the story.
Raptor66
Well green beans are not supposed to scare you. HH on the other hand.....
Neon
Now he shouldn't be forced to go because he was scared. Unless he knew what was expected, he shouldn't have gone, but if he's 13, then maybe he's never been to a haunt.
Gordon Bombay
Keep in mind folks this is a story passed down to the original poster from his friend, its not like it was a news article or anything. We dont really know the kids situation and what hes like nor what the parents thinking behind their actions were or what the parents are like, or let alone if this even happened.
