And the September weekends after Labor Day when KK was open while KI did groups? KK is now closed (except Saturday, September 6, when it is open) . .

Sounds like someone is cutting back on Operating expenses.

Of course, there is that little unhappy side-effect that occurs when you reduce Operating Expenses in such a manner; And no, Im not referring to ED!

I was shocked to hear that Kentucky Kingdom was opening later. Especially the fact that they would not be open for spring break week like they have been for the last several years.

I`m sure the park has been suffering quite a bit after the incident last summer. I wonder if these restricted hours were a result of a decrease in attendance that occurred after the incident. Or was the park simply not very profitable at these times, and Six Flags is trying to reign in their costs in their attempt to right their finances.
