CoastersRZ
Very interesting article. I know that with my six years in the rides department at Coney, I was older then all but one other regular employee in the rides department (not including the managers, although I was older then two of the four managers as well). Like that article states, the past three years, I have been working at Coney on a weekends only basis to get a little extra cash to help me through grad school. WooferBearATL
When I was supervisor at the park, I had employee's that ranged from 16 to somewhere in their 30's. For a few years I had beer locations, so a good deal of my employee's were between 18 and mid 20's. I know that there were several food, merch and game locations that had people up through their retirement age. I think that the age demographics for employees changed considerably for the younger under Paramount. For example, KECO never hired employee's under 16. Judging from Cedar Point, they seem to trend more from college age on up. We'll have to see if that trend spreads to the former Paramount Parks.
