2BMasterofK.I._29
If you could submit a One or Two paragraphs at the most. And what you wrote was to be published for a book about Kings Island. But you could ONLY write about One thing about Kings Island. And say that it could be about anything in the park. In the park meaning everything from the parking lot to the Eiffel Tower and in between. Professionally, what would you have to say? By asking this question, I am trying to get to know each members individuality. Nothing says it ( to me ) in such a way as someone describing something that they enjoy in detail in their own words. Please keep in mind that I am not asking for experiences, I am instead asking for descriptions of One thing that you enjoy in a way that goes straight to the point. ( That came out kinda funny...The point..not Cedar Point, and not Kings Island's Signs Exclamation Point. ) And NO I am certainly not planning on writing a book. I just think that this could be a neat topic to see how people write.
beastrider97
I would write it on roller coasters/thrill rides. (They are the same on Kings Island's website.) These rides are what brings me to Kings Island.
The Interpreter
Kings Island is a fascinating microcosm of American culture and life in general. As it develops over time and through different ownerships, one can observe trends in American society, the leisure industry and how its potential guests choose to spend (or not spend) their discretionary dollars. One can also study the park's management and its choices in how it deploys its budget in the face of the national economy, the corporate owner's philosophy and financial obligations and the owner's vision. In all this, the park will succeed, or fail, because of choices made by many, many people. Choices that can be affected by the thousands of decisions made that affect the park, its operations and its guests and employees.
Beast1979
^In short, Kings Island is combination of many different things from thrills, to humor, to family fun, and is the only reason I am living right now.
