How the crocodile hunter's family was ripped apart

Featured Replies

I think this happens to all families, to a point. I remember when my grandfather died, my aunt and my dad had some issues that really arent resolved completely at this point. It just happens to come out in the spotlight to people who are already in the spotlight.

Yeah, it is sad when these family arguments come out after the death of someone...unfortunately, it happens quite a bit.

Is anyone else a little creeped out by Bindi Irwin? I saw her on the Today Show the day after Thanksgiving, and she was performing this rap song and had accompanying (adult) male dancers...the whole thing was really weird and awkward.

No. Not creeped out by Bindi. She seems like a sweet little girl who has a great future ahead of her.

Maybe I phrased it wrong...I didn't find her as creepy as much as the way she was being packaged...

Well, I guess I'm alone in finding it inappropriate that adult men were sliding around a ten year old girl on stage like she was Britney Spears. (Of course, I also found the way Jon-Benet Ramsey was made up to look and act like an adult was inappropriate as well...)

Just old fashioned, I guess....

^Now that, I can agree with. Although I didn't see if for myself. Sounds pretty bad.

I found a link...

I always wonder when kids are set up in acts like this if it's their idea or the adults around them...she really doesn't look like she's enjoying herself, and the whole production is really awful. (Although, on second watching, the male dancers don't seem quite as leachorous as I remembered...)

A lot of adults who missed their dreams of becoming a model or a singer act it out on their children. I do think that some of what is going on to Bindi is what Terri wanted, but not all.

And remember, sex sells, and as disgusting as that is revolving around a ten year old, its really the way that the world works. Whoever is in charge of Bindi's career knows this, and uses that to make her more money.

What a sick, sick world this is.
