When other similar information is not posted here...it doesn't show up...then when it is, it does. Uncanny, eh?) Funny you should say that. I sent Lance an e-mail telling him that it looks like he gets his "inside" information from the KIC boards to which he replied that he didn't have enough time to read message boards. Of course, that doesn't mean one of his "inside" sources doesn't.

That does NOT mean the new owners have to keep the property the same. Historic status confers certain tax benefits so long as the guidelines are followed...but nothing prevents the owner from putting aluminum siding on a clapboard house. Federal funds can't be used for such a purpose, and there may be other restrictions, but historic status alone does not afford such protection.
