The bracket has been updated to reflect the name change.)

Tomkatt7
Who are the four "experts"?
UncleHenry
One person per area who has the knowledge on the area to be called an expert. They know the in's and out's of the area of the park they represent, not just in terms of rides, but other things such as entertainment and games as well. They will be kept secret, as their votes may cause some attractions to advance, even when it did not have the popular vote.
UncleHenry
Welcome to the Kings Island March Madness Halftime Show, sponsored by KICentral.com! Let's take a look at the scoreboard for some scores in some of the big match-ups. Many people expected #4 seeded Racer to advance to the second round, but no one could expect the 12-0 shutout it is enjoying over #13 seeded Skyline. Skyline is usually a big hit in the Cincinnati area, but it seems to be no match for the powerhouse that is Racer. This thing has got the experience and stamina to make it far in this tournament. Speaking of shutouts, one would expect the #1 seeded attractions to have no problem in the first round. Instead, not a single #1 seed is having a shut-out. That means at least one person has voted against each #1 seed in this round. With the first round comes the first upsets. A tournament like this is always bound to have some surprising results. Surprisingly, #11 seeded Dipp'n Dots Depot is beating out #6 seeded Wings Diner 10-5. Part of this outcome is due to the Rivertown Expert giving Dippn' Dots the advantage, but even without his three extra votes, an upset would be in the making. Can Wings Diner come back from this 5 point deficit, or will we have our first big upset of the tournament? Make sure you keep voting! There are still many very close match-ups, and your vote could determine what attraction advances!
Captain Nemo
I can only guess who the Rivertown Expert is. Who else would pick Dippn' Dots! I bet the Dippn' Dots guy know the final winner!
UncleHenry
All experts have voted, but you can vote until 5 PM today. Updated brackets will be posted some time after that.
UncleHenry
Round One Results: And our games in this opening round have just finished, so let's take a look at some of the big games: In the Rivertown division, #5 KI&MV Railroad had a shutout against #12 seeded Old Time Photos 20-0. The first major upset of the tournament goes to #10 seeded Dipp'n Dots Depot, knocking out #7 seeded Wings Diner 13-7. Rivertown seems to have had the easiest competition in this first round, as #3 seeded White Water Canyon also had a shutout against #14 seeded Wave Runners 20-0. The Action Zone bracket seems to be the least chaotic division, with only one upset. #10 seeded Bubba Gump's Shrimp Shack ended #7 seeded Viking Fury's tournament hopes by a score of 10-9. Nick Universe by far had the biggest upsets of the tournament, with half of the games resulting in the lower seed winning. #9 seeded Royal Fountains made a case for being under-ranked, by easily defeating #8 seeded Chick-fil-A 19-1. In one of the closest matches of the tournament, #12 seeded Emporium knocked out #5 seeded Fudge Shop 11-9. #13 seeded International Showplace pulled off an even bigger upset, defeating #4 seeded Runaway Reptar 12-8. The biggest upset of the tournament goes to #14 seeded Floral Clock, ending #3 seeded Fairly Odd Coaster's tournament, with a score of 13-7. While it did not have the most upsets, Coney Mall had one game as close as it could have been. #12 seeded Zephyr edged out #5 seeded Shake Rattle and Roll in overtime, winning 11-10. (The match-up ended in a 10-10 tie, with the Coney Mall expert's vote determining the winner.)

Could this be the round a #1 seed bites the dust? Your votes decide. Make sure you vote before Sunday!

UncleHenry
I have votes from a back-up expert for Coney. I am currently trying to find a suitable replacement expert for the Action Zone area. Results will be posted as soon as I find a suitable replacement.
UncleHenry
I have votes from replacement experts for this round. UncleHenry
Let's take a look at the second round results! #5 seeded KI&MV Railroad had a substantial win against #4 seeded Potato Works, winning by a score of 13-2. #7 seeded LaRosa's pulls out the first major upset of this round, knocking out #2 seeded The Crypt 11-5. The #5 seeded attractions seem to be having alot of luck this round, with Adventure Express beating #4 seeded Son of Beast 11-5. In yet another upset, #6 seeded Drop Tower took out #3 seeded Invertigo 13-3. And so it has begun. #1 seeded Avatar has been knocked out by #9 seeded Royal Fountains 12-4. The closest match of the round also ended in an upset, with #14 seeded Floral Clock knocking out #6 seeded KI Theater 9-7. It seems that the Floral Clock is this year's Cinderella team. Speaking of Cinderellas, 3 of the 4 attractions remaining in the Nick bracket are upsets, who according to their seeds should have lost in the first round. Coney Mall is the exact opposite, with all of the top seeds advancing with no surprises. With all four being rollercoasters, it appears that Coney is the coaster capital of the park. Get voting on the Sweet Sixteen!

The cinderella of this tournament is #9 seeded Royal Fountains, as it advances to the Elite Eight by defeating #13 seeded International Showplace 10-5. The closest match-up came from Coney Mall, where #2 seeded Vortex edged out the newcomer #3 seeded Firehawk 8-7. The winners of each match-up in the next round will be named best attraction of the area, so make sure you vote!
