I_heart_pki
I love this park. The haunted house is one of a kind.
Gordon Bombay
I'm going to try and get down there the weekend of the 16th. It's not too far from school and it will be good to ride a classic wooden coaster and photograph a classic park.
The Interpreter
Just remember, during May they are only open Saturdays and Sundays, 11-7:30....
Gordon Bombay
Those times will actually be perfect. For those who have been there before, is it worth spending the whole day? Also, although it is a much smaller and family run park, anyone have any idea what their policy is on loose articles or entering/re-entering the park. I'd kind of like to keep my camera stuff with me.
The Interpreter
A story about opening: http://www.herald-dispatch.com/homepage/x1409592133 I will let others tell you whether or not you can spend a day there...I can easily spend either half an hour or a day, but then I am easily amused. And with a handstamp, you can re-enter all day long. Loose articles? Talk to the ride operator at the time....
cassie_KY
One of my friends runs the train (Guessing that you don't really "drive" it. right? What is the correct term, anyway?). He has done it for a few years now and absolutely loves it! They have put alot of work getting the place back together and is worth a visit- or two.
