May 4, 200818 yr I'm going to try and get down there the weekend of the 16th. It's not too far from school and it will be good to ride a classic wooden coaster and photograph a classic park.
May 4, 200818 yr Author Just remember, during May they are only open Saturdays and Sundays, 11-7:30....
May 5, 200818 yr Those times will actually be perfect. For those who have been there before, is it worth spending the whole day? Also, although it is a much smaller and family run park, anyone have any idea what their policy is on loose articles or entering/re-entering the park. I'd kind of like to keep my camera stuff with me.
May 5, 200818 yr Author A story about opening: http://www.herald-dispatch.com/homepage/x1409592133 I will let others tell you whether or not you can spend a day there...I can easily spend either half an hour or a day, but then I am easily amused. And with a handstamp, you can re-enter all day long. Loose articles? Talk to the ride operator at the time....
May 5, 200818 yr One of my friends runs the train (Guessing that you don't really "drive" it. right? What is the correct term, anyway?). He has done it for a few years now and absolutely loves it! They have put alot of work getting the place back together and is worth a visit- or two.
