5/18 Trip Report

Featured Replies

Today was my 6th visit to Kings Island this season and I was determined to ride The Crypt. FINALLY! I rode The CRYPT! My friend and I got to KI before 10 a.m. and rode The Crypt - twice. WOW!!! :o

I am glad that unlike Flight Deck, which was stripped of all theming, KI actually replaced TR:TR's theming with new theming. The ride was different and somewhat enjoyable.

Next we rode The Beast, Vortex, and FoF. So far we faced no lines. Then we went on to Firehawk and waited 15-20 minutes, got on the red Firehawk and then had to get off because of some technical diffuculties. After waiting a while, we were transferred to the yellow Firehawk and rode it.

Then we rode the Red Racer, shopped for family members, and went home.

Best regards,

Italian Chef

PS - Didn't Firehawk used to be Superman before CF bought it from Six Flags?

Well a clone of it is called Bat Flight and themed to Batman at a Six Flags park. Italian Chef most of the other Flyers at Six Flags are Superman. Hope that helps you out.

And confused it with what was once called Batman: Knight Flight at what was once Geauga Lake then Six Flags Ohio later known as Six Flags Worlds of Adventure then Geauga Lake whereupon it was then called Dominator at Geauga Lake and thence Kings Dominion...

Lime green Superman, indeed...that ride, Superman: Ultimate Flight later became Steel Venom thence Voodoo at Dorney Park...confused yet?

If you look at the track that turns over to swithc the trains coming in the station on the inside you can still see the lime green track.
