Today I went to Kings Island alone with my son. We arrived before 10 a.m. and rode Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle first. We didn't score too well; my son (who is 4 years old) scored 30 to my 750.

Then we entered NICKELODEON UNIVERSE, where we spent most of our day. We boarded Lazytown Sportcopters and had almost no wait. It was a relaxing, but non-thrilling experience. After that, my son rode Blue's Skidoo alone.

We then rode Little Bill's Giggle Coaster together two times in a row. My son rode Backyardigan's Swing-Along after that, followed by Jimmy Neutron's Atom Smasher.

Next, my son and I rode Fairly Odd Coaster, which was lots of fun. We actually got some air time. We then rode Timmy's Air Tours, followed by Plankton's Plunge.

My son then rode Swiper's Sweepers alone, followed by La Adventura de Azul with me, and then Go Diego Go alone.

We took a break for lunch and ordered our food from Central Grill. I appreciate their combo meals, but wish that they offered something vegetarian for me. I was stuck with fries. My son, who eats meat, had chicken and fries.

After lunch my son rode Nick Jr. Drivers alone. Then we rode Nick-O-Round, followed by Phantom Flyers (which made me feel like Superman), and the Wild Thornberry's River Adventure - which got us wet. So I thought it would be a good idea if my son and I ran through SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom Bash. It looked like a mere sprinkler. I WAS WRONG!!!! We were drenched!!!! No part of my body was spared from water. Lucky for my son, I brought a spare pair of dry clothes for him, so I changed him after the water experience.

Once dry, my son and I experience all that Nickelodeon Universe had to offer - except for Reptar and Airbender because my son is too short. Then we went to Rivertown and rode Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad 3 times. My son LOVES the train. After that we returned to Nickelodeon Universe and rode Fairly Odd Coaster 3 more times.

Then we went to Coney Mall so that my son could try Monster for the first time. He wasn't interested. So we went to Oktoberfest to try Viking Fury for the first time. He refused to ride that, too. So we returned to Nickelodeon Universe and rode Fairly Odd Coaster 3 more times, and then took a break so that my son could eat a snack. Then we rode Lazytown Sportcopters 3 more times. The line was short. We son wanted to ride more, but I needed a break from the slow ride. After that my son ate a second snack.

We then rode Fairly Odd Coaster 2 more times. That made a total of 9 Fairly Odd rides for the day.

My son and I then finished the day with two rides on Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle. I forget what we scored the first time, but he got 90 to my 1080 the second time.

By then it was nearly 7 p.m. and I was tired. So we went home. Today was the most Nickelodeon Universe filled day of both of our lives - and it was an awesome day!

Have a great weekend!

Indeed. Due to health reasons, I have given up meat. Though I occasionally will eat meat when in a restaurant.

However, I am still the Italian Chef, who makes many meat and seafood dishes for my family and friends.

Best regards,

Italian Chef

I'm not familiar with any health reasons that make a human go vegetarian?

Meat is full of hormones, toxins, and animal fats.

A vegetarian diet helps reduce cholesterol, makes digestion easier, and helps relieve arthritis and tendonitis pains.

So does eating a balanced diet, lean meats and exercising.

Vegetarian diets can be as detremental to a persons health as an all meat diet.

I remember having a friend that lost huge clumps of her hair when she went vegetarian. She was not getting enough protein into her diet and was instructed by her doctor to add meat back into the diet.

^Woofer, have you not been reading Chef's previous trip reports? Apparently there is a correlation between his new diet and his success at SDATHC.

Hmmm, that very well may be.

I have seen some new record scores being posted.

So essentially what you're saying is that it's like an elite athlete that is in special training prior to competition!

I think I get it!

Wow, so vegetarianism makes you a better shot? Where's deerhunter when you need him? I bet he would have something to say about that!

Most them Vegiatarian Folk just have that glazed over look!

You know that they're just dreaming of a big old steak or a juicy burger!

Yep, I hope you have a dietitian guiding you in the early stages of vegetarianism. Woofer's absolutely right -- bad things can happen if you just go vegetarian and don't eat a balanced diet. Something similar happened to my sister, she started loosing hair. Not to the point where you could tell on her head, but it was really evident when she'd change clothes and a ton of hair was stuck to what she was wearing. Turned out that she was low in protein. Meat adds a lot to a diet... it's just when you get the Wendy's Baconator every day for a month (guilty) that it's really a problem.

Cliff Note: Recently I have been eating better. :D

Ah... that's right... you're from that weird part of town where they call the White Castle a Crystals, right?

Are you just baiting me?

Krystal is wonderful! It's not Crystal, and it's not Krystal's.

Most of all, it's not White Castle...at Krystal you can get the BA burger, which is simply awesome. You can get Lil Pups, little hot dogs with, of all things, what appears to be Armour Star Chili on them (I grew up eating that stuff, back when Armour owned Dial soap...and even then wondered if they mixed up their products!:))

Krystal has a special connection to the flying community, too! And always has. And, unlike White Castle, which is from Wichita, Kansas and is now headquartered in Columbus, Krystal is a southern thing, Chattanooga, Tennessee to be exact.

And I prefer Gold Star to Skyline, too.

It's all a matter of taste.
