Obviously, what Kinzel (and Shapiro) thought about attendance going up due to people vacationing closer to home is not happening. Otherwise, why would they need discounts?

They have always had discount packages, but single day admission tickets have not been as deeply discounted in the past as they have been this year....especially at Kroger..or at the gate of most Six Flags!
