Hard rock park

Featured Replies

I visited HRP yesterday, and actually had a pretty enjoyable time. I went in with really low expectations, so it probably wasn't too hard for the park to exceed them, but they did exceed them none-the-less. (I'll write up a TR if I have the time...)

The park was really well themed...just not a whole lot to do. (Although, we were there about six hours, and didn't do any of the small rides and only one show--the "Roadie Stunt Show"). There was a lot of good area theming (I'd say on par with Universal), but unlike Universal, the rides themselves weren't elaborately themed. I had read reports that it was very similar to the old "MGM Grand Adventures Park" in LV...I don't think that's a completely fair comparison. I think it's a little closer to what Disney-MGM was in it's first season, as far as # of attractions and enjoyment level.

I didn't encounter any customer service problems...every employee I had contact with was friendly and helpful. I found food service customer service to be good--to be honest, a lot better than what I've experienced at any CF over the past few years. Although, I'm sure the employee to guest ratio helped a lot too...attendance was pretty sparse.
