BoddaH1994
Since it's open now, I was curious as to what you guys thought about Flashback: Totally 80s. Please don't vote in the poll until you've seen the show... I shouldn't have to say that.
hamoperator
It wasn't that good, hopefully they can fix it or replace it. Living the 80's once was enough! The first thing that bothered me was seeing a picture of Michael Jackson; He doesn't belong being associated with children. Overall the singing and the costumes are not the same quality that other shows have been at Kings Island in the past. Last years 60's was much more entertaining. One of the greatest performers and entertainers of all time? (and no I'm not a Jackson fan) Being that Michael Jacksion helped define the 80's, I'm not certain how you could leave him out. As far as the quality, you're comparing it to a time when the entertainment department at the park was well established. You have to remember that the park appears to be trying to rebuild that area. You have to give them time to come back to the glory of old.
ZosoBeast
I loved it. I really enjoyed the Journey part! The one thing I would leave out is the bucket of water at the end. That was just a little over the top.

Wow... leaving Michael Jackson out of an 80's pop revue is like a Reds baseball history museum not having something on Pete Rose. They've both had their issues in later years but need to be remembered for their great contributions to pop culture and sports, respectively. I have a feeling they'll do a 70's show next year, but it'll be overburdened with Disco rather than music that better defined the era. But that's just me. Coasterkidman
^Why would they do 80's THEN 70's? All kidding aside, Michael Jackson was an important part of the 80s, and just because he *supposedly* (am i allowed to say the r word on here) some kids years later, doesn't mean his picture is not allowed to be at a local amusement park's newest show! BavarianBeatle
Well, I saw it today for the first time. I didn't care for that type of music in the 80s but the performers were fine. The 80s for me was more Van Halen, AC/DC, and Judas Priest, etc. I was thinking that if any of the performers ever happen to make it big, videos of them in those wigs are going to be all over youtube.
