mplebanon
Anyone notice how slow the dodgem' cars are this year? Did someone get hurt and they slowed them down? Also, I could barely get my head and shoulder through the strap. The strap had my arm pulled back so far I had to drive one handed. I was disappointed. Guest kwindshawne
I used to ride them years ago and rode them for the first time last year. I noticed a big change from years ago-to the point it is no longer enjoyable.
Vortex
It has been slowed down some this year. Anyone know why?
Zorba
I love bumper cars, but are barely enjoyable this year. Can barely even feel the hits.
MrPostman
I agree, super weak.
BavarianBeatle
I won't ride them this year. I let my kids do it without me.
Rollercoast19
Also, I could barely get my head and shoulder through the strap. The strap had my arm pulled back so far I had to drive one handed. I was disappointed. I haven't tried them this year, but last year I did notice the shoulder and head strap. It was way too small. I just thought I got a bad car. The Interpreter
On opening day last year, I rode the bumper cars for what I swore would be my last time. The restraint was WAY too small. I almost think this is some sort of attempt to get adults to ride it no more...so that the kids are much safer, and it is then a de facto kiddie ride...meaning: in reality it's a kids ride even though it says it is not... The only theme park bumper cars I am impressed with these days are at Six Flags Over Georgia. To get a good bumper car ride, you have to go to a family park. And even some of those are pretty sad...the ones at Holiday World were among the very worst. Knoebel's are still great...Lusses, and run the way they were intended. gabelogan99
Yeah.. Wyandot Lake used to have some really good bumper cars. I ride the ones at KI every once in a while but over the past couple of years they have gone down hill. Sounds like the trend is continuing. Oh well.. I don't care much about bumper cars with rides like Flight of Fear and Firehawk nearby.
