chippewa&idora4ever
can anyone tell me if by making the borrow area behind SOB they got rid of every last recognizable landmark/ landscape of the lion county safari? because that would really stink
BoddaH1994
The area behind Son of Beast in which land is being "borrowed" has sat vacant for a very long time. It has been nothing more than a grassy field since the early 1990s when the Monorail was removed. There are still a LOT of remnants of the old Lion Country Safari throughout that area of the park, but most can't be seen from the midways. Most of them are way off towards the Great Wolf Lodge. If you go up in the Eiffel Tower and look behind Son of Beast you can still see a lot of random buildings, silos and shacks, but most are in pretty bad condition and the ones in good condition are used for storage. MarketingExpress
There is also still a large lake way back behind SOB.

welchce
You can always go to Google Maps and try to look at the area behind SoB to try to get a feel for the layout. Going to Windows Live Maps is also good because they have the "Bird's Eye" view.
