GrimReaper
well when i think of out and back i think like hill and straight out in a line with a bunch of hills(the voyage/magnum/Diamondback/etc)..i dont think i would consider El Toro to be an out and back..but i guess it just depends who you are asking
The Interpreter
But El Toro goes out, then it comes back...on the way back in there is a helix. Which is different from Shooting Star at Coney Island of Ohio how exactly? And what was Shooting Star? Why, an out an back! Fancy that. Guest rcfreak339
Well...If you don't consider ElToro an out and back then why do you consider The Voyage an out and back coaster?

Alright, okay so your saying that you can describe every rollercoaster as an out and back then
The Interpreter
No, I am not. I am saying that you are apparently relatively unfamiliar with the layout of El Toro. In post 30 of this very thread, I even listed some of the other types of wooden coasters that El Toro is not, from a figure 8 to a double out and back to a twister. Beast1979
How can you argue about the layout of El Toro? It starts out as basically an out and back with a helix turn around, but at the end it becomes extremely twisted! You not convinced? Guest rcfreak339
Yes but then The Voyage is certianly not...

The Interpreter
Why, the Voyage is certainly not El Toro. And that, my friends, is a very, very good thing. Terpy, running for Camden, New Jersey...or sumthin'
GrimReaper
alright, i agree you are right about el toro being an out and back, however it is not your typical out and back, or at least in my eyes, when i think out and back i think straight out straight back in a line, shape wise... but determining that El Toro is an out and back doesnt change my impression on me liking the voyage better, so i don't understand the big deal
