I have never been there, but I saw on TV something about Test Track (I think it's called) at DisneyWorld. The que there looked pretty good, but maybe someone that has actually been there has another opinion.

Although very interesting, it comes perilously close to being one long infomercial for General Motors. I usually bypass it, by entering the single rider line.

Hey, I guess it's always better than nothing.

My friend and I were in line for the front seat of MF, and it had been a very hot day. This guy in front of us had a sleeveless shirt on and he stunk so bad it almost made my eyes cross. The smell was like a sweaty sock filled with old cool ranch Doritos, and every time a train screamed past the queue, it blew the dank smell toward us. My friend was trying so hard to hold his breath but said he kept smelling the funkiness. It took everything I had not to gag.

Yeah but i would rather smell funky BO than get puked on.

I can proudly say that I have never once puked after any ride or coaster.

My deodorant is 1 percent below prescription strength and I put on like 8 layers of it before I leave for the amusement park.. you won't smell any funky fumes from this girl! ;)

They could make it into a walk through reptile hall. Like a One Way Herp House. But that would require

the return of animals to the park. Although easy to maintain. It wouldn't need to be a lot of animals, but it would certainly require one really cool Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. And that would not even require a lot of people to take care of. Heck, I could do it.

Snakes are so cool! I actualy got to see one devour a mouse! But not s human and if there was a real snake on disply that would be awesome but if somebody is extreemly afraid of snakes they might not ride. but who would be afraid of snakes but not a coaster?

Actually, probably many people.

I would just skip the idea of having a real snake in the line entirely, maybe for the grand opening day.

I'm hoping to see some warning signs in the queue like in Beast's queue.

Yes, The Beast's scenery has really vanished since the ride opened.

Please don't even tell me you are going to be one of those people who complains because you will be able to see portions of Diamondback from portions of Beast.

May I point out the entire park's scenery has changed since 1972, including building The Beast? Doubtless, there were those back then who were opposed to that, too...but they didn't have an Internet to express it on...and, thankfully, they were not listened to. As an aside, the efforts made to save trees while building The Beast were very ahead of their time.

I know one thing that I would simply love to see at the front of Diamondbacks Queue Line. And every other Queue line. "Fastpasses". Something else that I would like to see are cheaper prices on vending machines. For decoration, signs that show facts about Diamondback Rattlesnakes, and somehow compare those facts with the ride would be neat.

Yea the line for Firehawk sucks. I think the best line at Kings Island is Flight of Fear followed by the Crypt.

Once the lights in the queue were put in, I totally agree with you. It's so nice to cool off with the AC.

This guy. There's no way you'll ever see me near a snake ever. I'll ride any coaster out there, but no snakes. I even have a hard time going into the "snake house" at the zoo.

Here goes....I think that the feel of the reptile should be there. Imagine being outside, looking at the image of the snake that was generated earlier. The fangs hang way down below either side of the doorway, and they do have a fog effect. Then you walk into a building. All around you are facts about Diamondbacks, images on the wall of their skeletal system, digestive system and etc. And as you walk around the room, posters, and plaques reveal up to date information about the animals. As well as old forgotten myths. Behind glass, there could be a replica of the inside of a herp house. Featuring hanging prongs, and hooks, for the feel that the animal is present. There could also be a desk with written data on the animals observed behavior, and a massive REAL snake skin displayed on the wall. A real Diamondback skull could also be displayed. Fangs could be displayed in a jar, and and a sign could read.."Caution, Venomous!" There could even be a replica of various tools, and even jars of antivenine. The building, at some point could give the appearance of

walking through a forest, with the appearance of great tall pine trees all around you. ( Kind of like E.T. at Universal Studios ) Speakers could create the sound of a Diamondbacks rattle, and it could come and go anywhere throughout the building. ( this effect would be as you are getting closer to the actual ride. ) On either side of the line through this replica forest, could also be bushes, and pine needles, and leaves. ( pine needles, and leaves don't need to be real ) This could be the ideal environment for the snake, and animatronics ( relatively cheap ) could make the leaves move as if something were under them. Another cool effect here could be just visual. On the left and right sides of the line there can be dirt and sand ( not real ) that have been laid down in a small trail, along with some smothered grass and weeds. This gives the appearance that the snake has been moving through the line. And finally there could be some fake snakes ( although appearing real ) lying in pine needles, or on a log. There could even be a real or fake snake skin stretching from a log. ( Log does not need to be real )

This would be my personal ideal line for Diamondback!!!!

That would be pretty cool if there would be snake inside the queue or outside the ride...but the only way I could see that happening is if there's someone next to the cages/whatever they'd use to hold the snakes at all times.

If the PETA gets on SF about letting people eat cocckroaches, I'm sure they'd get on KI for letting them put snakes out by themselves :P Because lets face it, people would be tapping on the glass, graffiti-ing, and all sorts of things to those poor reptiles. It's just going to happen.

But I really liked Maverick's queue where it showed some videos of the construction and interviews; and the gift shop right there. But I also heard from people that showing the POVs inline is like a 'spoiler'. But I mean, you can see the ride infront of you, haha...not much of a spoiler.

The problem is a lot of people think the ride is over when the train enters the tunnel (I've heard many people say this on and off the ride). After they see the POV they all know that the tunnel is not the end.
