jondrewfoo Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 dont you mean the 7th of september? the 7th of august is long gone, and i know the 7th of september is a sunday because im going to GE Day at Kings Island! Quote
CoastersRZ Posted August 25, 2008 Author Posted August 25, 2008 Yes, I meant the 7th of September. And yes, the Zoom Flume is in its final days of operation at Coney Island. Coney will have plenty of new things to wet guests appetite in 2009. Quote

CoastersRZ Posted August 26, 2008 Author Posted August 26, 2008 As the old saying goes, those who know don`t talk and those who talk don`t know. A new coaster next year? I don`t think so. The rides department has seen numerous additions the last few years. 2007 saw the introduction of the Rock O Plane from Americana. This year saw the introduction of the River Runner, Turtle Parade, Eurobungy Dome, as well as new locations for the Frog Hopper and Giant Slide. The last new addition added at the pool was in 2006 when they added the Cyclone slide to Sunlite. Logic would point to the pool area getting some upgrades next year. Especially with the removal of the thirty one year old Zoom Flume. Quote
sheikra_rocks Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 It would be awesome if Coney would buy the Screechin' Eagle. I was too small to ride it the last time I was there. Quote
WooferBearATL Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 As the old saying goes, those who know don`t talk and those who talk don`t know. If that's true, how come we received essentially all details on Diamondback last November from Screamscape and other sources? Quote
Beast1979 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 As the old saying goes, those who know don`t talk and those who talk don`t know. I can't believe I just heard that again. That is such a B*ll statement. Quote
Braves0511 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 O Contraire...In the three or four years I've been on this site, it's been true about 98% of the time...and those that know and talk, typically get fired, so it doesn't happen very often... Quote
Beast1979 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 ^Just this site alone is no where near a reasonable example. *cough*Screamscape*cough* Quote
Braves0511 Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 In the same four years, Screamscape has been right maybe twice...I'll give them D-back i guess...I don't even remember what the last one was... Quote
Beast1979 Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 ^They've gotten a lot more then that. *cough*Racer Flip*cough* Quote
Braves0511 Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 ok...3...and you should probably get that cough checked out...hope it's not contagious haha Quote
Beast1979 Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 ^I hope it is! *cough*path closed*cough* Quote
