fanofki
They should just put those skeletons in a train on Son of Beast. That would freak people out.
Beast1979
They need to have the spines cracked in half, then it'd be accurate.
fanofki
They need to have the spines cracked in half, then it'd be accurate. Yeah, they should show them as examples of what is to come to all those getting on the trains.
Beast1979
I still say they replace the track with Intamin Plug-And-Play track. Or better yet, Replace the Son of Beast with a new Intamin Plug and Play!

Beast1979
Nah, I want a woodie After Diamondback. And I would prefer a better layout then SoB.
fanofki
Nah, I want a woodie After Diamondback. And I would prefer a better layout then SoB. Well they could put steel down and then build a whole other Plug and Play somewhere back there, too. And where did the name Plug and Play come from anyway. It sounds like something from a video game. Beast1979
Well, The Intamin "Plug and Play" style coaster get's the name because it is built like a normal Woodie except the Rails are not built out of wood like conventual Woodies, but are built piece by piece in house out of steel. That's how the "Plug and Play" name came from, because all you do is take the rails and plug them into each other, sorta like normal Steelies. Here's a nice Pic to help:

When you ride Son of Beast does it make your chest feel like its getting crushed? It makes mine feel like it's going to explode. I hate high blood pressure. Hank
They should have the loop as a Halloween decoration too! Maybe have a witch circling round and round, cackling all the while!
DropZone99
I dont know if im the only one but... When you ride Son of Beast does it make your chest feel like its getting crushed? I don't feel like that on SOB, i do on Beast though... SOB is my third favorite coaster i have been on (and i have been on 76.) I love SOB and as of 2008; it's the best coaster at Kings Island. Beast1979
^Really, man, what is up with you? How can yo feel perfectly fine on SoB and feel like you're getting jackhammered on The Beast? I just don't get it.
Guest rcfreak339
Yeah, The Beast is rough but in like a old school coaster kinda way but SOB just plain hurts
Beast1979
I absolutely love how The Beast jostles you up and down and left to right.
Guest rcfreak339
I think that is what makes The Beast fun!
Hank
We are off topic, gang - and there are many threads about love/hate for The Beast and it's Son!
Beast1979
Hello? It's KICentral, of course it's off topic!
The Interpreter
They should have the loop as a Halloween decoration too! Maybe have a witch circling round and round, cackling all the while! Except the thing was almost twelve stories tall! It'd dwarf everything around it. Only by comparison to the huge structure that is Son of Beast was the loop in proportion. Even then, the valley in which the Son is installed also made it seem like that loop was smaller than it was.
Beast1979
When you live in the world of adrenilane and roller coaster riding I notice that more often then not do you begin to loose your perspective for hights. When you live in a world of "Anything under 180' ain't bad" (Which is something I see comonly with Enthusiasts), 118' dosn't seem to big!
