Guest rcfreak339
Well, When I rode The Beast for the fist time in the early summer of 2001 I remember The Beast a whole lot faster. I can really notice the decrease of speed in the Mid-Corse brake shed, back when I rode it in 2001 I remember just zooming down that section but now it's like you going fast until the very end of the shed when you can just fell the sudden decrease of speed. I know why Paramount changed the brakes but I was thinking why can't they just change The Mid-Course Brake shed back to friction brakes? Me and a group of other people waiting for our ERT on The Beast after the employee reunion was having a great conversation about this subject. The Interpreter
Search is a really good thing. . .Honestly, this has been discussed what seems like at least six zillion times, over and over and over... Just three examples that I found with exactly ninety-six seconds of looking: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?...l=Beast++Brakes http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?...l=Beast++Brakes http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?...l=Beast++Brakes And these are just the topics where Beast braking was a major component of the thread. The issue has also been discussed ad infininitum and ad nauseum in numerous other threads, including (I'm kidding) one about cranberry Jell-O. Jell-O is a registered trademark of Kraft Food Holdings, Inc. Beast braking is a matter of safety and maintenance and is in the sole discretion of Cedar Fair, the State of Ohio, various insurance companies worldwide, attraction designers and manufacturers and darn near anyone else except random posters on Internet fansites, many of whom claim to know more about running parks and coasters than those who do run parks and coasters.
