I was happy with the props and displays scattered throughout the park although some appeared worn. The same displays were much more convincing with effect lighting and fog after dark. I was very much impressed with the sheer volume of fog, truely was one of the better effects. Quite disappointed with the apparent lack of "free roaming" haunts, I expected many more. Can't comment on the haunted attractions as we did not witness these first hand. If I had to go again...

I would. We always have a good time at KI.

My family enjoys HH, my kids even though they are under 13, look forward to going and having fun. This year we have only had 2 complaints; we had a cast member in Urgent Scare yell at us (not as a Ghost/Ghoul) to get our kids out of there, they didn't belong there. The other complaint is we went through Death Row and we seen 3 cast members on the outside, and only 3 inside, it was LAME; too much fog and not enough cast members. We have had a few moms get baligerant with us for bringing our kids, but I hope they remember, THEY ARE MY KIDS; my kids know its only for fun.

Other than that we really like HH and plan to keep going every weekend. Good Job to all the cast at KI.

I had a blast this past Friday and Saturday but there were a few things that kept it from a 5:

-When I went through Cemetery Drive at about 9:30 no actor tried to scare anyone in our group, they at most stood there and some were even gossiping while we walked by. Very disappointing.

-Worksite had maybe 6 people working the enitre zone Friday night (9:45) they need some more people here

-The park was way too crowded Saturday night, every line spilled into the midway, I understand they want to make money but there comes a point where you have to stop letting people into the park so that those inside can have fun. That point should be when all your queues are full on all your rides, having lines extend onto the midway makes for an unsafe situation, confuses guests (what line is this for?) and impairs traffic flow. I was only planning on doing one haunt, Shake Rattle and Roll and The Beast so I was unaffected by this (went to Fright Feast) but it was still disapointing to see.

-Fright Feast, love it but we were promised monsters and as part of the first seating on Saturday (5-6) we got no monsters and then were told to go outside and wait at the US line after we ate. I know it was the first weekend they split it up this way and some kinks need to be worked out but just felt I would mention them here. My suggestion is this: have the monsters show up to scare us at 5:30 or so or stop promoting that they show up (it would not affect me purchasing the meal) and the other one was handled once we got there, and when it comes to the FOL pass, my suggestion is this, make the pass good for the first hour-hour and a half and suggest that we go line up for another haunt after our meal and then go to US and not have to wait. That way you increase the value of the experience for us, and get better flow (we will all show up at different times.)

On the plus side though (and again, I gave it a 4 out of 5 so dont think I didnt have fun: )

-It got totally lost in Death Row, which made that maze so much more fun

-Trail of Terror, Massacre Manor, Tombstone and Urgent Scare are simply fantastic, no complaints here.

-The amount of fog in the park is fantastic, really adds to the atmosphere and makes SOB, AE and The Racer even more fun to ride at night.

it was a scareactor that said this?!?! must have been someone that got "lent" to us from another attraction. I was playing with a 2 year old and everytime i'd jump at him he'd jump and then had the most adorable giggle ever! Some kids love this stuff! And if they can handle it great! more fun for them. (btw his mom said it was HIS idea and he wanted to come in here first-it was his first haunted house :D)

but ppl get leary about the kids, because there are those parents that want to go and drag them along "whether they like it or not" and the kid is screaming its bloody head off and THEN the parents have the audacity to yell at us scare actors about scaring their kids! (even if we are simply walking by, not scaring anyone, just walking!!) That's what we hate. We actually ahd to turn all the lights on in Urgent Scare b/c some 5 yr old got so scared he crawled under a table and refused to come out, even when all the actors left the room! Its just not fun for the actors or those wanting to enjoy it, but i have seen those "little kids" who love this stuff! Heck i was even one of them! :D kudos to you, and i apologize for whoever yelled at you.

I will be going next Saturday and the following Saturday. Hopefully it wont be too packed but next Saturday we are satying til close so hopefully i will get to experience most of the haunts if not all.

Good luck getting through half of them on saturday. I know i heard US's line was 3 1/2 hours long for quite a while. everyone lines up and sits in the line at like 5 or so, so if you really want to go to a certain one, i suggest get dinner and eat it "in line"

there seemed to be more scareactors hiding in some unsuspecting places.

cornstalkers was much creepier when it was a zone along the lake.

headless hollow had more actors and much better scenery.

i thought the worksite was better when it was by slingshot.

now it seems like the actors are socializing and not doing much of anything.

they just aren't "into" their jobs.

one night i was tipped off to where i should find a certain scareactor from KIC. we walked

up and down coney maul 3 times and never seen a single scareactor.

i know they have been advertising more actors than ever, but i don't see it.

now it is just placing gory scenery around and calling it a haunt.

the whole thing could be better with more zones and less mazes. it should increase capacity.

with the size and makeup of the park, there is a lot of area to work with. imagine the entire

park as one large maze. it could happen.

as far as actors thinning out, we seen more this last friday night than our 1st 4 visits combined.
