October 16, 200817 yr As part of a massive renovation to Disney`s California Adventure, Disney released plans to shift the focus on the park to California in the 1920s. Additionally, the renovation to DCA, to cost $1 billion and be completed by 2012 will feature a new area dedicated to Disney/Pixar film Cars. Read the entire article from the LATimes. This is a particularly relevant subject for me (as some of you may already know). I am in the midst of my graduate studies at UC`s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. My area of concentration is entertainment architecture and indoor water park resorts, and themed environments.
October 16, 200817 yr Oh, my. Oh, my my. Terpy will be busy saving pennies, nickels and dimes for his coming California trip. Yes he will. He loved DCA before, he adored Disney's MGM Studios park...and is a sucker for anything 1920's. Oh my. Terpy...can you tell he's excited?
