Beast1979
2 hours at KI + Shortlines + Camera = 68 pictures. Of course I had a blast, expect 4 posts of it. Lots and lots of track as normal. (Like something changed) The first thing I noticed was that Diamondback is starting to "Sprout". My tradition Pic. The Second Thing I noticed was how empty it was. International Street, you know the drill. Diamondback is going to become KI's Dragster, visible from anywhere and towering over everything. Fountains 'n stuff. Since it was so cold some rides didn't open untill later, like Drop Tower. But Invertigo called to us with it's non-existant line. Ride on. Inverted Loopiness. Then there was a Delerium Walk on! I'm on there somewhere... It was beautiful! What? AE Closed? BOOOO!! Racer has no line. Wee. Not only did The Racer LOOK pretty.... ...But as always it provided an amazingly fun ride. Then 2 walk ons on the Flight of Fear!!
DropZone99
"Then 2 walk ons on the Flight of Fear!! " It's not called The Flight of Fear, it's Flight of Fear; no THE.
Beast1979
"We enjoyed our visit to your cute little world. Now, if you're quite ready, it's time for you, to visit OUR World" Hey you know what? I'm always game. Bring it on! It won't leave me alone!!!! You look close you can see the moon. Vortex Time. I'm on there somewhere....... Yea, front seat's the only good seat on that ride. Loopy loopy loopy. I want the Eagles back. Now. Wowsy. Nothing to see here just keep moving! It looks like it's not going to make it to the top of the next support! 40 degree lift hill. Diamondback has begun what is likely to be a legendary rein of dominance over Kings Island. *raises eyebrows* Compare this to a pic from 6 months ago, and 6 months from now. Crypt Time! OK the Crypt was real fun, back to Diamondback I can't wait untill the drop is done. Hills. Hills. Airtime. Airtime. Fun. Fun.
Beast1979
I think I'm addicted to Diamondback. Yummy Beast. The Beast, thrilling over 25 million people since 1979. The Beast, thrilling me over 300 times since 2005. It's amazing how huge this is. RCT Turn I like this pic so I'm not going to give it a caption! Ohh, wait. I like the Eiffel Tower, how about you? Coney Mall was themed to like, a possesed Carnival. It was......wierd. Caution! Worksite Ahead! AE Open, Yea! I like this pic to so I'm not going to give it a caption! Ohh. Wait. Darnet! I like the Action Zone. Hey, Son of Beast doesn't have a line! So, you know, why not? The ride hasn't even begun yet and he's in pain! That's noteworthy. My mom can get a good pic every now and again. Hey, wait a sec, that was actually fun! So, let's ride it again! OK, it's official, the front seat on the Red Train is the only fun seat. But it is, a very fun ride in that seat.
Beast1979
The Son of Beast shouldn't be removed. It should be re-tracked like Mean Streak, then it will be a great ride. I'm in St. Louis and New York at the same time. Delerium is soooo fun. Action Zone is by far, the most photogenic area in Kings Island. It STILL isn't crowded! Lucky guys. Ride Count: Invertigo-1 Delerium-1 Racer (Red)-1 Flight of Fear-2 Vortex-1 Crypt-1 Beast-1 Adventure Express-1 Son of Beast-2 Front Seat Rides-4 (Vortex, Beast, Adventure Express, Son of Beast) And, of course, to end the topic. FOFreak
Two walk-ons for Flight of Fear! No line for The Racer! The trains on Son of Beast are not even half way full! I'm becoming more and more envious as I... um, type.

G-Force
lol, this made me sorry that I didn't attempt my ride streak that day. Hopefully I can go next sunday though. Great PTR!
Monroe
"Then 2 walk ons on the Flight of Fear!! " It's not called The Flight of Fear, it's Flight of Fear; no THE. He did not capitalize the "T", so it is not considered part of the title. So he is correct. Nice pictures, I am glad you had a great time. The Interpreter
Better yet, try the front row of car 5, the seat around which Ron Toomer designed his looping steel contraptions....incredible floating air, smooth transitions (on an Arrow!). FOFreak
I'm gonna' try to remember that next June when I go for my two yearly trips!
The Interpreter
It's even more important to remember should a lifetime Vortex rider attempt to take on Great American Scream Machine at Great Adventure!
FOFreak
What's the loopiest coaster in America?

BavarianBeatle
Last I checked, Raptor, believe it or not, which has six inversions... Which (ironically) two weks ago today was also a walk-on.....
Jasper
Seems to me like there is always a certian seat on an arrow coaster where it is just the best.
Beast1979
The front seat on Vortex is the only seat that has consistantly given me a smooth ride, I've ridden almost every other seat (Including 5-1) and I've gotten my head shattered on each one.
