gigacoaster2k
That is horribly sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.
Avatar
This is tragic! Young children get so excited and think they are invincible. My brother drove a decorated concrete mixer truck in the Deland, Florida Christmas parade last year (2007). Just this week (Wensday) he was telling me his concerns about other entry participants not having enough help walking next to their vehicles to help them keep people from getting to close and to help the driver spot potential problems. They wanted him to drive the truck again this year but he refused, because nobody would volunteer from the company to walk the parade route to pass out candy and most important be crowd control. He even offered to let someone else drive and do the walking himself, but no one wanted too and he said it was too dangerous to do without help.
