CoastersRZ
From many years of experience, Ferris Wheel`s are great rides that can please all members of the family from small kids to grandparents. It is a nice addition to Kings Dominion. One thing I do know from operating an Eli Bridge Ferris Wheel, is that Ferris Wheels are NOT high capacity rides due to the fact that only one (or a few on larger Ferris Wheels like at Cedar Point) can be loaded at a given time. Hopefully, Kings Island will receive some nice classic flat rides such as a Ferris Wheel (or even a new set of Flying Eagles) for the Coney Mall area of the park. While those rides may not be the most expensive or thrilling rides around, they are cheaper to install than rides like Diamondback and can appeal to a larger age group than roller coasters. This larger appeal can help the parks attract the older demographics who might not want to tackle the white knuckle rides anymore.
XGatorHead 8904
This larger appeal can help the parks attract the older demographics who might not want to tackle the white knuckle rides anymore. And the younger demographics that are not tall enough to tackle the white knuckle rides yet!
RailRider
Ive been wishing for KI to add a Ferris Wheel for a long time and was honestly hoping they would get Americana from GL. Hopefully sometime in the futre KI will get some classic flats like you mentioned RZ, would be a great way to bring Coney Mall back.

I loved KI's Ferris wheel back in the day, I would love to ride one again, I simply haven't gotten the chance.
Coney Islander
I've been wondering what Americana/ Lesourdesville Lake rides are left, what rides are in too poor of shape to fix, and where the other rides no longer there were moved too. Racerrider
according to WKYC, KD will also get GL's El Dorado Car-Flyer ride http://www.wkyc.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=102738

Hank
I don't remember the heighth restrictions on building in KI, but I think a REALLY big Ferris Wheel would be a good investment for the park - you know, like the London Eye or that new one that opened in China. Call it Top Thrill Wheel!
The Interpreter
And, unless the ride malfunctioned, that would be a very misleading name. Riding the London Eye or the larger wheel in Singapore is purportedly a very relaxing experience, not unlike sitting in one's Barcolounger, watching a plasma television. Top? Yes. Thrill? For most, no. A fast spinning Eli Wheel is far more thrilling than is a HUGE Ferris Wheel that turns as slowly as those big wheels seem to. RailRider
Can we go with an Eli double wheel? Those are a true joy to ride and watch.
