Cedar Point ERT dates for '09

Featured Replies

I think I may also go to Cedar Point Thursday & Friday July 16/17 for Double Play. I'll also be going to CP for Coaster Mania and possibly in September.

Hmm they used to have ERT every single day.

This is the special ERT scheduled for one hour after the park closes.

They still have ERT every morning for an hour before the park opens.

I'd rather go for morning ERT, lines are MUCH shorter.

I went for MF ERT last year, and it was terrible. It was scheduled from 10-11 pm, and people (including me) started lining up at 8:45 pm. The coaster was down due to mechanical problems. At 11 pm, they announced to the entire line (which was past Mantis all the way to Iron Dragon) that ERT night was called off, and no other coaster was substituted. People were so angry that they were booing, cussing and throwing trash. IMHO, it was not at all worth it.

I did, however, only end up waiting 10 minutes for MF the next day on morning ERT. :)

^^I also know the TTD ERT in June was a similar failure...however, the Maverick ERT in May was sweet! More people than the Maverick in ERT in June 07, however, which only had about 150 people.

The Maverick May 08 ERT had probably 500 people? I got in 4 rides with the 4th being one of the last trains of the ERT.

I think the Magnum ERT in August was good, and they added Maverick to it or something? I wasn't there.

However, the 09 MF ERT being *after* Memorial Day kinda of sucks!! But the Maverick one in August should be good.
