How many of you work at PKI? Where do you work?

Food Service supervisor, differnet location every year. Going on 6 years. If any of you were in the park from 98-early 2000 you would have seen me at Oscars. This year, who knows, I may transfer to rides.

Rides supervisor. Since 1999, I've worked on Face/Off, Top Gun, King Cobra, Days of Thunder, Beast, Shake Rattle and Roll, Flying Eagles, and Log Flume.

2001-Line Associate- Spotlight/Gateway

2002-Line- Rock Shop/F&F

2003-Not sure at this point, But for now I'll be at Rock/Fudge until they conduct Asst Sup. interviews. Wish me luck.

Lots of rides peeps here, myself included. February of 2000 found myself applying for a job in rides at Human Resources. Two hours later, I found myself on the Congo/Drop Zone crew. After that, it's all a blur. Jump to present day. I find myself on the Delirium crew. What's next? Who knows.

BTW, all my ride crews are in my signature if you haven't noticed by now.

AZ Kinda Guy: Why aren't they releasing new pics of Delirium? Are they keeping it a secret of what it looks like?

They probably don't have anything they think is "significant" yet. They may have finished the operator booth and electric housing but how exciting is that. I'm sure they already know that other people have seen the parts arriving in the parking lot and know that people like me have posted those online. So why waste time taking pictures of footers that have been there for a while or something that is already available when they could wait another week and show the supports actually going up, pictures that can't be taken outside the park. Thats just my opinion.

Beastfreak pretty much nailed it. On a ride like Scooby, progress can be more visible. Hence all the recent construction pics. However, on a ride like Delirium, there are alot of smaller tasks that are not obvious to the human eye. So therefore. there isn't anything to see!

Chris, you think YOU got around that park...I think I was the rides whore...I mean...I got around on the rides more than a certain manager who was in Rivertown in 2002...lol! I was trained at seriously 85% of the rides throughout my time there!!!!!

Mental disease...Now...the manager prolly has diseases!!!! HAHAHA!!! I think my disease has cleared up a little now that I am not there.

I am a line associate in rides. Which for those who dont know is a regular employee. In rides you still get to do every position though.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're in that hidden room behind the Goddess thing. In the main room. I have seen it. The rest of you now have a good idea, you just have to know where to look.

I wouldnt really call that a room, just a one-person shack hanging off the side of a building. Theres barely enough room for a normal rolling chair in there. Cramped corners.

I am returnng for my 4th season at PKI.(Previously worked at Americana for 7 seasons). I started out in 2000 at Congo/Drop Zone for 2 seasons. In 2002 they decided to split that great ride pairing and go with Face/Off-Congo and that is where I'm at this season. Might be a long season but it will be a rebuilding and fun season. Hope to see all of you sooner or later.
