tigellinus
^^Now Terpy, what's your opinion of the GAdv Nathan's at the beginning of the boardwalk?? Am I nuts for not only patronizing such fare (not exactly the official food of El Toro), but think it's actually somewhat reasonably priced, at least as compared to the John's: Papa and Rocket!! The Interpreter
I actually like the Nathan's at Great Adventure. For Nathan's, it's not all that overpriced. I adore the fries (and seldom eat fries anywhere else since the weight loss). I usually eat at Nathan's at least once during any Great Adventure visit. It IS a Nathan's, unlike, say, the Skyline Cinemas in the Cinci area, which serve Nathan's Famous BRAND wieners, but hardly what can be called Nathan's Famous authentic styled hot dogs, much less the fries. tigellinus
Yeah, actually, I had the fries in mind (and how I liked them) when I was thinking about that Nathan's...would you be surprised to know that on hot days my girlfriend and I would stand under those A/C blowers over the entrance doors for minutes on end! Not the most logistical with people coming through, but it sure does feel darn good!!
