March 11, 200917 yr I submitted a whole new higher bid, and sent an e-mail in correspondence. Magically my first bid went away.
March 11, 200917 yr I think you can e-mail Don to change it, he usually helps with that sort of thing. That's what I did. I had four separate bids on the board and felt bad for taking up so many spots.
March 12, 200917 yr ^^Sorry, giga, you've now been out bid on the D-back auction! And, we're now at a 3 digit minimum per seat as well!! My prediction remains the same...after the auction closes, seat 160 will be at least $200, and seat 32 (1st train) will be at least $500!!
March 12, 200917 yr I believe this auction could easily be called a sucess. I imagine press coverage on the 18th will be crazy for this.

My prediction remains the same...after the auction closes, seat 160 will be at least $200, and seat 32 (1st train) will be at least $500!! I think I'm just going to retract my bid altogether and donate a lower amount of money to the organization itself. These numbers are going too high for me. I'd feel bad if I pulled out of the auction without donating any money to such a great cause.
March 12, 200917 yr Wow thats an awesome gesture on your part I just reread my post, and I need to clarify something: I certainly do not mean for it to look like I'm giving myself a pat on the back. I am hoping that some who cannot afford to bid so high for a seat may do the same. Just because many of us may not get one of those first rides doesn't mean we can't shell out some money for the organization to help these kids.

I didn't take it as you giving yourself a pat on the back at all. I just think it is very generous to still donate the money even if you do not secure a seat with a bid. ~RailRider patting gigacoaster2k on the back~
