It seems the new owners, ousted the old management. This may not end well for kennywood if the new management changes things.

New management ALWAYS changes things. For one thing, no one knows what old management would have done. For another, circumstances have changed radically. The world of today bears little resemblance to the world the amusement park industry faced even six months ago, much less a year or more back.

Most companies out there have done or will do the same thing, lay off, that's just the difficult times were having now.

Often times when new ownership takes over, there are changes in management. Look at what happened when Cedar Fair bought Paramount Parks. How many of the Paramount Park people who were involved in management are still with Cedar Fair.

yeah that kind of thing happens in most businesses whether it's banks, sports franchises or amusement parks, it's not really right I suppose, but I guess if you invest in a company, you want put some of your people in, or the type of people you want. It's unfortunate but that's life.
