February 11, 200917 yr per Screamscape and wikipedia they are swapping and old pirate ship for a new one, added and kiddie ride and a swing ride. They are retiring Balloon Race. I'm going there on a PA amusement park trip this summer, but to me this seems to be a bit of a downgrade, I think I would've preferred Balloon Race But at least they didn't retire Casino, I would've been ticked, I'm looking forward to riding Wheel of Fortune from Kings Island for the first time in over 20 years!
February 11, 200917 yr Still no word on the former Revolution from Libertyland. They've had it since I think 2005? Maybe 2006. I remember watching the trucks with track going down the highway when I lived in Memphis. Hopefully it will go up too, I'd like to ride it again in it's new home.
February 11, 200917 yr I have a feeling that won't see the light of day. They just don't have the necessary space at that park. While Delgrosso's is a nice park for kids, I was overwhelmingly bored in about an hour.

While Delgrosso's is a nice park for kids, I was overwhelmingly bored in about an hour. They were in a real hurry to get it out of there and I've seen press releases from them talking about setting it up as soon as they had the money. So maybe they blew all their money buying it at auction and haven't come up with the booty for installing it? I'd really hate to see it waste away, like the Zippin Pippin is currently doing.
February 11, 200917 yr Author Perhaps this pirate ship is better, but I don't think you will ever see Revolution if you haven't seen it by now. The park does look a little boring on the ride side, but I think it may have a certain charm to it, so I will definately visit on my trip, especially to ride the wheel of fortune, however I will be splitting that day with Lakemont Park and I probably will only spend about 2 and a half hours at Delgrosso's the rest of the day I will be spending at Lakemont.

February 13, 200917 yr I just stumbled here by accident. I work at DelGrosso's. From what I understand, they were originally going to demolish one of the concession/game buildings (the big blue one near the train, if you've been there) and put the Revolution there, but for whatever reason, this never happened. There are eight DelGrosso siblings and when it comes to making decisions about what goes on at the park, every single decision must be unanimous for anything to happen. It's a wonder anything gets done. There used to be a handful of houses behind the Crazy Mouse, but the family has slowly been buying them up and knocking them down. There are still two holdouts, though. One of the houses is directly behind the Crazy Mouse. They like to sit on the porch and yell at us as we cut through their property to get into the park. My guess is that once these two houses are gone (and who knows when that might happen), then the park can expand that way. And how strange that they're switching out two of their newer rides already. Hm.
