Never Been To Kings Island

Featured Replies

How could I define Kings Island for you. Honestly I would describe it as the kind of place that you can easily fall in love with. You will create memories here, no matter what you do. Fond memories. It's the kind of place that offers something for everyone, no matter what age you are. And you will most certainly develope your own likes, no matter how you approach your day. Look at it this way, everything you try on your 1st trip is something that you have never been able to experience in your life before, and for one reason or another, it took this long for it to happen. So make the most of it!

I could try to tell you that The Beast is an unforgettable riding experience, and I could tell you that Firehawk's uniqueness makes it worth it's wait. I could tell you that you can watch an ice skating show and leave being in a better mood than you were prior to viewing it. But these are just opinions. I could tell you that White Water Canyon, is as good as the similar rides that you will find at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Busch Gardens, and I can tell you that The Vortex will be on your top 10 list for a Kings Island visit, but again all opinions. I think the answer that you need is to visit the park, find attractions that interest you and your party, and try them all out. I guarantee that you will find even more along the way that was unexpected, and that this place will be a fond memory for the rest of your life. You might even want to come back for more. Until....this last part is kinda scary.....Until....Until you become one of us!!!!! Really though, that is not a bad thing either.

coasters:

Beast (duh. specially in dark. full moon dark good too. better in some ways if you like mix of cool lighting then boom darkness lol. back right corner of park)

Diamondback (Check a test seat first tho...sorry to say. mid-back right side....not like you could miss it.)

Racer (...classic...pure and simple. mid to back left side of park)

Flats:

Delirium

Drop Tower (as have already been mentioned...im just not a crypt fan....its fun just.....closed too often for me to care most of the time. both D's are in front left.)

Monster or Shake, Rattle, & Roll (classics. its hard to pick a coney best flat... mid-back left side)

Carousel (even more classic....just ignore the music sometimes ;) but maybe im biased slightly left of center [center being the giant green Eiffel Tower. yes my world revolves around it. speaking of things turning....has it been 4 years yet? lol])

Water (main park):

White Water Canyon. no question. (Congo's good too but if you wanna get wet worth a darn on that ride, stand on bridge, right where the right offshoot is attached. across from d-back)

Water (water park) :

Tasmanian Typhoon

Snowy River Rampage

And to please all my picky picky friends.....

"Attraction" (that is TOTALLY considered a ride now. so y'all hush!):

Eiffel Tower. you cant miss it (in both meanings of the phrase. again, my bias might be showing a little)

Food:

POTATO WORKS FRIES WITH CHEESE!!!!!!!!! (oh how i miss them....)

Show:

Flashback! Totally 80's! (by Eiffel Tower. its good and i dont know much about the other shows this year)

hope that helps some n.n; if not. come see me at the Eiffel Tower or carousel n.n

The whole park is great.you will love the shows that they have and the rides rock.

SOB-the tallest wood coaster there and it can be rough.try sitting up front for a better ride.

The Beast-a very good coaster.Be sure to take a ride at night on it.you will love it.

Vortex-can you ride upside down? Then give this baby a try.

Flight of Fear-0 to 60 in under 5 seconds all in the dark.(ALL CLEAR)

The Racer-It's fun and did you know that the brady bunch rode it and came back for more?

There is much more plus

3 water rides plus boomerang bay at no extra charge.

Hope in enjoy and if your here in the summer time enjoy the fireworks.
