lance99 Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 what are they for employess for the 2009 season? Haven't been back in 2 years.
violakat03 Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 If you were hired, you'll get an employee handbook when you process (turn in all your final hiring paperwork), before you go to training.
The Interpreter Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 And among the things you will find in there will be a policy on what to not post on the Internets....
Jasper Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 I would actually love to see the handbook for employees. I might have to try and see if i can find one somewhere.
Jaredap88 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 what kinda stuff cant you post? and why cant you post it? or do you have to kill me after you tell me?
goofywdw Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Like if you hear something at the park and go tell the world and it ends up being confidential of false you can get in a lot of trouble.
Jaredap88 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 ah that makes sence....i never really thought of anyone "hearing things" that would be all that important
goofywdw Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 ^Well when you are behind the scenes at a park all day you are around a lot of other employees whether it is on break or just at your position.
Tomkatt7 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 ^Well when you are behind the scenes at a park all day you are around a lot of other employees whether it is on break or just at your position. The "Dipin Dots" guy is a wealth of knowledge!!!
lance99 Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 I actually don't post about stuff that goes on at KI and never will.-- Also left this out when is the absolute last day that I can turn in the paperwork and not get yelled at?? Haven't started on it yet.
goofywdw Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 ^You can post stuff about KI. Just read the handbook you get and make sure you are within the guidelines that they provide. You can kind of use your common sense when and if you ever come to a situation. About the paperwork, you need to turn in your paper work well before April rolls around. The first day you can take the orientation class is March 14th so I would say before then. You need t process your paperwork before you can take orientation and complete training and you must take the park orientation class before you complete training. I mailed in my paperwork today because it said to mail in as soon as possible and then go in after March 1st to get your uniform, ID card, drug test, and show your forms of identification.
lance99 Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 Drug Test?? This is new. Urine test?? Where it say mail ASAP??
goofywdw Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 ^Yes. If you remember your username and password to go and edit your application, there is tons of information in there for you. It will most likely answer all of your questions from here.
Guest rcfreak339 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Im still trying to find out what this topic is about.....
goofywdw Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 ^At first I thought it was a thread for praising Kings Island.
kittenpooh Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 ^At first I thought it was a thread for praising Kings Island. Thats what i thought........
Dane Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 When you get hired at KI, they give you a general handbook of guideline such as how to punch in, dress code, and general policy's. Even though there is nothing really special or exciting in it, it is proprietary information of KI and cant be posted. 1
